BICon is extremely pleased to have played a leading role in the development of the Avaloq BPO Center in Berlin with the implementation of portfolio management, investment performance calculation and client reporting.
The challenge was to align the different requirements of all customers of the BPO (Bank Julius Bär Europe AG, Tradegate AG Wertpapierhandelsbank, Bank Vontobel Europe AG and V-Bank AG) nd to develop a generally applicable product from them.
A business requirement highlight was the accountability report within client reporting, where absolute realized and unrealized gains/losses, costs, and revenues (profit/loss view) were used to explain the period’s profit/loss (balance sheet view). This has likely never been implemented in Avaloq before.
